The iQOO 16 smartphone, unveiled at a recent company event, introduces the proprietary Q-flex control technology. This feature aims to enhance touch responsiveness and sensor precision, specifically targeting high-frequency gaming scenarios through deep integration with game engines.
The device features a new touch control chip that supports an instantaneous touch sampling rate of up to 5000Hz and a multi-finger touch sampling rate of 500Hz. According to the manufacturer, these improvements reduce sliding latency by 28% when the optimization feature is active.
For motion tracking, the iQOO 16 is equipped with a high-precision gyroscope that reaches a sampling rate of 500Hz. Each unit undergoes individual calibration using a custom-built tool to ensure stability and accuracy during in-game movements and micro-adjustments.
