The Ippon Na+ II TAE 1000 is an online uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed for servers and workstations, featuring sodium-ion battery technology. The device provides 1,000 W of active power and is part of a series that also includes 2,000 VA and 3,000 VA models.
Sodium-ion batteries offer a higher energy density and faster charging speeds compared to lead-acid alternatives. According to the manufacturer, these batteries support 2,000 full discharge cycles, while the device itself operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C.
The UPS supports input voltages from 110 V to 300 V and frequencies between 40 Hz and 70 Hz. In eco-mode, the system switches to double conversion when input voltage drops below 185 V or exceeds 250 V, with a transition time of 5.4 ms. Under a load of 800–850 W, the battery life is 6 minutes and 43 seconds.
The unit weighs 6.8 kg and features a metal chassis with three output sockets. Connectivity options include USB Type-B, RS232, EPO contacts, and a slot for SNMP or dry contact expansion cards. Remote monitoring requires the UPSilon 2000 software, which is provided with a license key.
The Ippon Na+ II TAE 1000 is priced at approximately 37,000 ₽ and comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty. The device includes a cooling fan that runs continuously, making it unsuitable for quiet environments like bedrooms.
