Spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the United States recorded outflows totaling $729 million over two days this week. Data from Farside Investors confirms that funds managed by BlackRock, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, and ARK 21-Shares all faced significant capital withdrawals on Wednesday and Thursday.

Market activity earlier in the week showed mixed results, with investors selling nearly $90 million in shares on Monday, followed by purchases of approximately $119 million on Tuesday. The subsequent shift in investor sentiment coincided with reports regarding potential interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve.

The price of bitcoin recently traded slightly above $82,688, reflecting a decline of over 3% during the past seven days, despite a nearly 2% recovery over the last 24 hours. The current price remains 34% below the all-time high of $126,080 reached in October.
