Intermech and Digital Manufactory signed a technology partnership agreement on September 22. The collaboration focuses on developing integration solutions and executing complex digitalization projects for industrial enterprises.
The first outcome of this partnership is the integration of the Max CAD system with the IPS PLM suite. This allows for automated exchange of reference data and electronic product structure information between the two platforms.
The integration enables automated import of reference data from IPS into Max CAD, as well as the transfer of product composition and documentation from Max CAD to IPS, including version control support.
Future plans include integrating the Max.EDA software for printed circuit board design and the Reliability software complex for safety and reliability calculations into the joint ecosystem.
