Intercepta has integrated its Compliance Engine with the Canton Network, a privacy-focused blockchain developed by Digital Asset. Unlike public networks such as Ethereum, Canton does not utilize a shared ledger or public wallet addresses, restricting transaction visibility exclusively to the involved parties.

The integration leverages Canton’s observer roles to enable compliance functions directly within the network architecture. Intercepta provides three primary tools: real-time sanctions and anti-money laundering screening, transaction risk scoring, and illicit flow detection with fund traceability.

The Canton Network is designed for institutional finance, with participants including Visa as a Super Validator, alongside J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs. The network utilizes the Canton Coin as its native utility token for governance and transaction fees.

As of mid-September 2026, the integration remains in its early stages. Adoption is currently limited to select institutional participants rather than being deployed across the entire network.
