Gigabyte has officially confirmed that Intel plans to release new processors for the LGA 1700 socket in early 2027. The motherboard manufacturer has already updated the BIOS across its entire B760 and H610 product lines to ensure compatibility with these upcoming chips.

According to industry reports, the new processors are expected to be part of the Core 2000 series. These chips are anticipated to be technically similar to the current Raptor Lake generation. Intel is also preparing to launch the Core Ultra 4000 series, known as Nova Lake, alongside these releases.

Market analysts suggest that the Core 2000 lineup may consist of a limited number of models. Intel might focus exclusively on high-end processors featuring unlocked multipliers, following a strategy similar to the previous Arrow Lake Refresh rollout.
