Intel has submitted components for its upcoming Nova Lake platform to industry standards bodies, including USB-IF and PCI-SIG. The mobile Nova Lake-H processor, identified by IDs D331 and D333, has achieved compliance with the USB4 80 Gbps specification, indicating support for Thunderbolt 5.

The desktop Nova Lake PCH-S chipset, with device ID 6E6E, is compliant with the USB 3.2 Gen2 standard, supporting data transfer rates up to 20 Gbps. Intel utilizes the Qualification by Similarity program to streamline the certification process for related products that share similar USB circuitry.

Regarding PCIe standards, the 900-series chipset for Core Ultra 400-series processors has been on the PCI-SIG Integrators List since April. Additionally, unidentified processors with IDs D461, D465, and D467–D46A passed PCIe 5.0 x16 interoperability tests in early August.

These regulatory milestones align with preparations for the anticipated launch of the Core Ultra 400-series processors. Current industry expectations point to a market release of the new desktop and laptop platforms in the first quarter of 2027.
