Intel has reduced the price of its Core Ultra 5 250K Plus processor to an all-time low of $145. The chip originally launched at $200, with its recommended price later increasing to $220.
The 18-core CPU belongs to the Arrow Lake Refresh family and features six Lion Cove P-cores alongside 12 Skymont E-cores. It offers a maximum boost clock of 5.3 GHz and a power rating of 125W/250W for PL1/PL2.
The processor includes internal improvements such as a 900 MHz increase in die-to-die frequency and a 400 MHz boost in memory fabric speed. As an unlocked K-series model, it supports overclocking.
In multithreaded productivity benchmarks, the chip is 33% faster than the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X and 80% faster than the Ryzen 5 9600X. Its single-threaded performance surpasses all tested AMD models.
