The Intel Core 5 205H processor has appeared in the PassMark benchmark database. The chip features an 8-core, 12-thread configuration (4P+4E) and is built on the Intel 7 process with a 45W base TDP. Compared to the Core i5-13420H, the new model shows a 10.5% increase in single-core performance and a 15.7% improvement in multi-core scores, reaching 19,390 points.

The Core 5 205H reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 4.8GHz, up from 4.6GHz in the previous generation. It features 12MB of L3 cache and supports up to 96GB of memory, including DDR5-5200 and LPDDR5/X-5200. The chip is based on the Raptor Lake-H Refresh architecture and is part of the Core 200H series, with a release date in the first quarter of 2026.

A key distinction of the Core 5 205H is the complete disabling of its integrated graphics, unlike the Core i5-13420H which includes a 48EU UHD iGPU. The processor is currently available via MoDT motherboards, such as the Maxsun MS-MoDT 205H D4 WIFI, and is featured in new Lenovo laptop models with starting prices from ¥5,999.

The platform supports PCIe 5.0 x8 for discrete graphics and two PCIe 4.0 x4 lanes for SSDs. The Maxsun motherboard features a 190x180mm Micro-ATX form factor, 5-phase VRM, two DDR4 slots, and integrated Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.3. Lenovo has launched the Laiku GT 16 and LOQ 15 AI laptops equipped with this processor.
