According to industry sources, Intel has canceled its plans to release a desktop processor featuring 12 Xe cores within the upcoming Nova Lake generation. The company has decided to postpone the launch of this specific hardware configuration to the subsequent Razor Lake S product cycle.
Analysts suggest that the Razor Lake S 12Xe chip may be a rebranded version of the previously abandoned Nova Lake S 12Xe design. This strategy mirrors the approach taken with the Razor Lake AX series, where the manufacturer utilizes an existing architecture while applying a new product naming convention for the next generation.
