Anton Budon, a marketing professional, utilized Claude Code to assist in configuring a vintage audio setup for his home. The project involved integrating the AI tool with Telegram to serve as a personal assistant for technical tasks, including the optimization of sound quality.
The audio system consists of Kenwood LS-90 three-way speakers manufactured in 1980. These speakers feature a front-facing bass reflex port, an impedance of 8 Ohms, a sensitivity of 91 dB, and a frequency response range of 40–20 000 Hz.
The setup is powered by a Technics SU-V505 amplifier from 1983, which delivers 60 W per channel at 8 Ohms and operates in Class A. The total cost for the secondary market equipment was approximately 40 000 ₽.
The user previously owned Marantz and Sonus Faber audio equipment about 10 years ago. This new configuration was assembled to restore a high-quality listening experience, moving away from modern smart speakers and portable audio devices.
