US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $2 billion in net inflows over the past week. This represents the most significant institutional buying activity since late 2025. The surge in demand occurred despite Bitcoin failing to maintain a price above $87,000.
On September 21, spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a single-day net inflow of about $999 million, the largest daily total since October 2025. Subsequent inflows reached $715 million on September 22 and $347 million on September 23.
Market activity on September 21 was led by BlackRock’s IBIT with $381 million, ARK 21Shares’ ARKB with $289 million, and Fidelity’s FBTC with $239 million. These three issuers captured the majority of the day's total inflows.
Cumulative net inflows since August 19 have reached approximately $4.6 billion. This sustained accumulation pushed year-to-date flows for 2026 into positive territory at roughly $320 million, following a period of net outflows earlier in the year.
Bitcoin reached an intraday high of $87,397 before retreating below $84,000. Analysts are now monitoring the $82,000 to $85,000 range as a critical support zone to determine the future direction of the asset's price.
