Instinct, a personal agent platform, has secured $1 billion in a Series C funding round. The investment round, which values the company at $10 billion, was led by Sequoia Capital, Benchmark Capital, and Coatue. The startup currently employs a team of 14 people.

The platform is approaching $1 billion in annual transaction volume, with daily growth rates for both users and transactions reaching 10%. According to founder Shinn, more than 50% of all transactions processed through the invite-only service are related to travel bookings.

The company aims to modernize reservation systems for restaurants by focusing on special occasions and user preferences. Instinct operates in the personal agent market, competing with Meta’s Muse and the Khosla-backed startup Wajo.
