Instagram has introduced a feature allowing users to display tagged posts directly on their main profile grid. This update aims to provide greater control over profile aesthetics without requiring users to repost content or use the existing collaboration tools.
Users can add tagged content via direct message notifications, the post itself, or the dedicated tagged tab. The original post remains in its original location, and users retain the ability to remove added posts from their grid at any time without affecting the source content.
The platform suggests this functionality is particularly useful for creator collaborations and brand campaigns involving multiple participants. It allows creators to showcase shared content on their profiles without the need for manual republishing.
This release follows other recent profile management tools, such as the grid reordering feature launched in June. Additionally, Instagram has introduced editing utilities like First Draft for video trimming and Replace Audio for updating music on existing posts.
