The Ctyon CT07 is a budget-friendly button-based smartphone running Android 6.0, available on marketplaces for approximately 900 ₽. Despite its low price, the device features a MediaTek MT6737V processor, which includes four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 1.5 GHz, a Mali-T720 GPU, and a dedicated modem core.

The hardware configuration includes 1 GB of LPDDR2 RAM and 4 GB of eMMC flash storage integrated into a Samsung eMCP chip. The device supports 2G, 3G, and LTE connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. It features a 2.4-inch TN display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels.

Engineers opted for an SPI-based display interface instead of MIPI DSI to reduce costs. This design choice forces the system to use a custom framebuffer driver, limiting the refresh rate to approximately 24 FPS. This limitation causes the interface to appear sluggish despite the capable processor.

The device includes a MT6328V power management IC, which also functions as an audio codec and amplifier. The motherboard features various test points, including UART for diagnostics and USB pin duplicates, providing potential for hardware modifications such as RAM or storage upgrades.
