Injective has launched the first live demonstration of CypherOS, a native privacy layer integrated directly into its Layer 1 blockchain. The platform is designed to support confidential trading, shielded transactions, and private request-for-quote (RFQ) flows, aiming to prevent front-running for large-scale traders.

The development follows the Meridian mainnet upgrade, which went live on September 24, 2026, at block height 184,394,000. This upgrade enhanced support for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and established the technical foundation necessary for testing CypherOS.

Following the announcement of the privacy layer on September 25, the native token INJ traded near $8, marking a 32% increase for the week and a 42% rise over the preceding 30 days. As of early October 2026, the full architecture and audit reports for CypherOS remain undisclosed.

The project is currently preparing for the launch of a private RFQ testnet alpha. Future updates are expected to include the release of technical architecture details and the publication of security audit results to address community validation requirements.
