The new version 5.4.2 of the ViPNet Coordinator HW firewall introduces SSL/TLS inspection for encrypted traffic and enhanced URL filtering. The system now supports a database of over 100 million addresses categorized into 83 groups. Additionally, users can implement GeoIP blocking and restrict traffic based on custom IP address lists.

The updated Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) now detects malware across multiple protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP. The system also features improved ICAP server integration, allowing traffic distribution across multiple servers. A new session log has been added to track user activity, duration, and termination reasons for security audits.

Network management capabilities have been expanded with BFD protocol support for BGP neighbors to accelerate failure detection. The role-based access model now includes 'super administrator' and 'network administrator' roles, alongside support for personalized local accounts independent of ViPNet Prime.

ViPNet Coordinator HW 5.4.2 holds FSB certifications for cryptographic protection (classes KS3 and KS1) valid until December 31, 2028. It also meets FSTEC requirements for network-level firewalls and intrusion detection systems of the fourth protection class, with certification valid until July 25, 2029.
