Infosys, an IT services company with a market valuation exceeding $40 billion, is integrating the full technology stack of Chainlink into its banking and payments infrastructure. This platform currently supports over 1.7 billion customer accounts globally, providing a bridge for major financial institutions to access blockchain networks.
The integration includes the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), and the Automated Compliance Engine (ACE). Additionally, the toolkit incorporates Proof of Reserve, Data Streams, and Data Feeds to facilitate real-time pricing and asset verification for onchain financial products.
This partnership aims to simplify blockchain adoption for banks by embedding these tools directly into existing systems, avoiding the need for extensive IT overhauls. Infosys has prior experience in the sector, having launched the blockchain-based trade finance network India Trade Connect in 2018.
Earlier in September 2026, Chainlink partnered with Bottomline, a payments firm serving over 600 banks with an annual transaction volume of approximately $16 trillion. That collaboration focused on integrating blockchain access through established SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
