Barcelona-based fintech ID Finance has secured €545 million in debt and equity funding. The capital will support the company's transition from short-term lending to a buy-now, pay-later model through its Plazo platform.

The funding round included contributions from Spice Expeditions, WashU, Kingsway Capital, and i80 Group. The latter provided asset-based financing secured by the company's receivables.

ID Finance reported €243 million in revenue for 2025 and confirmed it is operationally profitable. The company's Plazo platform, launched in 2021, currently serves over 400,000 users.

In March 2026, the company increased its eurobond by €20 million, bringing the total to €60 million with a 12% annual interest rate due in September 2028. Additionally, the firm launched a new product, Turron, in July 2026.

The company aims for 300% growth for Plazo in 2026. This funding round surpasses the previous record for a Spanish fintech, which was held by seQura following its €410 million raise in November 2024.
