IBM has integrated its Digital Asset Haven platform with the Swift blockchain-based shared ledger. This connection allows institutional clients to manage tokenized deposit transactions directly across both infrastructures, bridging enterprise wallet management with global banking networks.
Launched on October 27, 2025, IBM Digital Asset Haven supports over 40 blockchains and utilizes multi-party computation and hardware security modules. The platform was developed in partnership with Dfns, a provider that has facilitated the creation of 15 million wallets for more than 250 clients.
Swift introduced its shared ledger on July 9, 2026, with 17 participating banks. The system enables real-time movement of tokenized commercial bank money, while final settlement continues to occur through traditional payment rails.
In September 2026, Singaporean banks DBS, OCBC, and UOB completed the first production-grade domestic SGD tokenized deposit transactions on the Swift ledger. This integration provides IBM with a distribution channel among the 17 pilot banks.
