Hyundai is hosting an in-person launch event in New York City to showcase the 2027 Tucson for the US market. This model, which represents the fifth generation of the SUV, was previously introduced during a virtual event in August.
The redesigned vehicle features a more upright stance, angular lighting elements, and prominent fender flares. The interior has been completely revamped, incorporating a large central display, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a new dashboard layout.
Under the hood, the 2027 Tucson utilizes a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with increased power output compared to the previous version. The lineup will continue to offer hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, alongside the rugged XRT trim.
Engineers have updated the suspension system to improve ride comfort and handling precision. The vehicle is scheduled to arrive at US dealerships early next year, with specific pricing and fuel-economy ratings to be announced closer to the release date.
