Hyundai Card, the financial services division of Hyundai Motor Group, conducted a pilot project on July 9, 2026, to test cross-border payments. The company transferred $20 000 in USDT stablecoins between its US and Mexican subsidiaries using the Axiym Finance infrastructure on the Avalanche C-Chain.

The transaction was completed in approximately seven minutes, representing a reduction in settlement time of more than 96% compared to the three to four hours typically required for traditional bank wires. The pilot involved four participants: Hyundai Card, Tether, Avalanche, and Axiym.

Axiym provides liquidity-as-a-service, enabling companies to reduce capital lockup by 70–90%. As of October 2026, the platform reported a cumulative stablecoin payment volume exceeding $2 billion, marking a 4.4-fold increase year-over-year.
