Hyperliquid has experienced a significant shift in its trading activity, with real-world assets becoming a major component of the platform's volume. According to data from The Block, the share of these assets rose from roughly 2% in January to nearly 50% by the summer.
This growth in tokenized assets may drive the creation of specialized blockchains on the platform. Analysts suggest that the rising volume reflects positive market sentiment toward Hyperliquid, which currently ranks as the third-largest crypto exchange by open interest, exceeding $11 billion.
Market participants are now tracking potential regulatory updates and new partnerships that could impact future volumes. Additionally, large institutional positions, such as the $980 million in short positions held by Abraxas Capital, remain a key factor for observers monitoring the platform's market dynamics.
