Decentralized perpetual futures exchange Hyperliquid has surpassed Robinhood Crypto in daily application revenue, according to data from DeFiLlama. The platform, which focuses exclusively on on-chain perpetual futures, recorded a trading volume of $8.9 billion in a single day in July 2026.

Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network launched on July 1, 2026, experienced a revenue spike on August 30-31, generating $2.66 million. During that period, it outperformed Hyperliquid L1, which earned approximately $1.7 million, and Ethereum mainnet, which recorded $1.27 million.

The surge in Robinhood Chain activity was largely driven by three protocols: GMGN, Pons, and Uniswap. These platforms collectively accounted for 88% of the network's daily revenue, contributing approximately $1.11 million, $930,000, and $307,000 respectively.

Market leadership in daily application revenue remains volatile. By early September, Solana led the sector with over $6 million in revenue. At that time, Robinhood Chain generated roughly $3.2 million, while Hyperliquid L1 recorded approximately $1.9 million.
