Huawei has released the HarmonyOS 7 update for its WATCH FIT 5 series. The update introduces a redesigned interface featuring soft white light effects and improved depth in application backgrounds, such as activity tracking and the calculator.
The update adds new themes to the emotional health application, including 'Furry' and 'Stardust' options. Users can access these via the application settings menu to customize their experience.
A new modular watch face allows users to integrate various widgets like hydration tracking, weather, and interactive pets. The system supports over ten theme colors and customizable layouts for displaying health metrics.
Health management features have been streamlined. Users can now activate pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, ECG (on WATCH FIT 5 Pro), and sleep apnea detection directly on the device without using the Huawei Health app.
Owners of Huawei smartphones or tablets can register for the update via the My Huawei or Service apps. Users with devices from other brands can sign up through the My Huawei WeChat mini-program.
