Huawei executive Yu Chengdong announced that the Luxeed R7 electric vehicle will offer a maximum range of 855 km. The updated model features significant interior enhancements, including new Nebula Red and Feather Sand Purple color options, alongside a redesigned cockpit with a D-shaped steering wheel.

The vehicle is equipped with a 26-inch high-definition HUD for the driver and a streaming rearview mirror. The infotainment system includes dual 17.2-inch screens and runs on the latest HarmonyOS, matching the software found in the AITO M9. Additional interior features include a smart refrigerator and a 220V power outlet.

The R7 offers a 2.1-square-meter panoramic sunroof with double-layered soundproof glass and an electric sunshade. The rear cabin provides 1540 mm of space with a flat floor. The vehicle also introduces a 'nap mode' with sound therapy features and supports NFC connectivity for seamless content transfer.

Exterior updates include a redesigned tailgate, semi-hidden door handles, and a hollowed-out logo. The car is equipped with side-mounted high-position cameras on the B-pillars and utilizes the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system. Pre-orders for the new model began in September.
