Huawei unveiled its first desktop computer, the HM650, at the Huawei Connect 2026 conference. The device runs on the HarmonyOS V1.0 operating system and is scheduled for an official release in September. The company designed this model specifically for office and corporate environments.
The HM650 has achieved level two security and reliability certification. It features integrated artificial intelligence tools designed for data processing, content generation, and knowledge retrieval. The system also employs large language models to enhance information security.
For corporate use, the desktop offers digital workspace separation and centralized management for applications and devices. Once connected to a network, the system automatically configures necessary applications and security policies.
The HarmonyOS ecosystem currently supports over 50,000 applications, with more than 19,000 developed specifically for the platform. Additionally, the operating system maintains compatibility with over 3,300 services.
