Huawei has begun showcasing its Mate 90 series smartphones in physical retail stores ahead of the official launch. The new lineup features a dual-tone design reminiscent of the Mate 60 series and is available in various colors, including green, black, gray, white, orange, and bronze.
The Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design model is also on display, featuring its own unique dual-tone color options such as white, red, and black, along with exclusive system fonts and wallpapers. These devices are designed to integrate with the new Huawei Ruiying Z10, a 10x optical zoom camera module.
The Ruiying Z10 module offers a 1-inch sensor with an equivalent focal length of 24mm-240mm. When attached to the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition, the camera interface updates with a skeuomorphic UI. The module supports XMAGE imaging, smart control keys, and color card selection features.
The Ruiying Z10 is sold separately and is not included in the standard retail package. Its functionality is limited to specific models, including the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition and the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design. The full series is scheduled for release on October 1 at 10:00, with sales starting at 12:08.
