The upcoming Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max series will feature a 50MP 1/1.28-inch primary camera. The imaging system includes RYYB technology, a variable aperture, anti-glare coatings, and the new Red Maple imaging solution.

The device is expected to debut a 200MP 1/1.28-inch SCC85XS telephoto sensor. This component, developed by SmartSens, is the first high-end domestic sensor to feature a full-process localization from design to mass production, supporting 4X lossless zoom and 83dB dynamic range.

Huawei plans to introduce a dedicated super external lens accessory for the Mate 90 Pro Max to enhance photography capabilities. The smartphone will retain the signature star ring design and is scheduled for release in late September.

The Mate 90 Pro Max will be powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro processor. This chip is the first to utilize logic folding tau architecture, with the new smartphone serving as the primary device to showcase its peak performance.
