Huawei has officially opened pre-orders for its new S7 RGB smart screen series. The device features an upgraded RGB-MiniLED display technology, which utilizes independent red, green, and blue light emission to improve color accuracy and reduce halos. The screen supports 105% BT.2020 color gamut and achieves 94bits color control precision.
The smart screen is powered by Huawei’s proprietary light-color control chip, which synchronizes the brightness and color of each LED bead in real time. It also incorporates an AI color calibration algorithm to enhance image reproduction. The display utilizes a 24-core light-emitting chip and a new generation LCD panel, resulting in a 10% increase in color efficiency and a 21% improvement in screen light efficiency.
The S7 RGB series is available in 55, 65, and 75-inch sizes, all featuring 4K resolution and IPS LCD panels. The screens support a 120 Hz refresh rate, with the ability to reach 300 Hz via frequency multiplication when connected to external gaming devices. The units are equipped with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, running on the HarmonyOS 4.3 operating system.
Regarding audio, the 55 and 65-inch models come with two 12.5W full-range speakers. The 75-inch version adds two additional 12.5W high-frequency speakers, with all models supporting HUAWEI Histen sound technology. The series is rated for Level 1 energy efficiency and utilizes advanced back-illuminated packaging to improve heat dissipation.
