The new Huawei Mate 90 series includes five models: the standard Mate 90, Pro, Pro Max, Pro Collector’s Edition, and the RS Ultimate Design. All devices feature OLED displays with a triple-cutout design for the front camera and 3D facial recognition systems.
Pro-tier models are equipped with 6.9-inch panels supporting a 1–120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 12,000 nits. The design retains a circular camera module that supports a 240-mm teleconverter. The RS Ultimate Design model features a titanium and basalt body with IP68/IP69 protection.
The primary camera system utilizes a variable aperture and a 1/1.28-inch sensor with 18 EV dynamic range technology. The top-tier model includes a 200-megapixel telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and the third-generation Red Maple imaging system.
Performance is driven by Kirin 9030, 9035, and 9050 Pro chipsets. The Kirin 9050 Pro offers a 40 percent performance increase over previous versions and supports local large language model processing. The devices are powered by 6,800 mAh batteries with 100W wired charging.
