Huawei has officially launched the Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design, a triple-fold smartphone starting at ¥19,999. The device features a 10.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer screen with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Its folded thickness is 12.3 mm, while the unfolded thickness measures 3.5 mm.

The smartphone is powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro chip, which Huawei claims offers a 42% performance increase over the previous model. It supports satellite communication, including Beidou messaging, and features a new hardware-level privacy screen technology that restricts viewing angles to the front only.

The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with a variable aperture of F1.49 to F4.0 and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. Additionally, the device is the first to feature ECG heart analysis certified as a Class II medical device.

Running on HarmonyOS 7, the phone is optimized for multitasking with features like split-screen office applications and a PC-mode interface. The device is available in black, white, and purple, and includes a protective case with a rotating stand for early buyers.
