Huawei has unveiled its new Mate 90 flagship smartphone series, which includes the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 RS, and Mate 90 Pro Max. The Pro model features a 6.75-inch dual-layer LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 12,000 nits and a refresh rate of 1–120 Hz. The device is powered by the new Kirin 9035 chipset, which is 20% faster than its predecessor and supports hardware ray tracing.

The Mate 90 Pro includes a 6,600 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities. Its camera system consists of a 50 MP main sensor with variable aperture, a 40 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and macro support. The device is protected by third-generation Kunlun glass and meets IP68 and IP69K standards for water and dust resistance.

The base Mate 90 model features the Kirin 9030 chipset, which offers a 27% performance increase over the previous base model. It shares the same 6,600 mAh battery and 6.75-inch screen as the Pro version, though it lacks the dual-layer OLED technology. The wired charging speed for the base model is capped at 66W, while wireless charging remains at 50W.

Both smartphones run on Harmony OS 7 and support Beidou satellite communication for text and photo transmission. The Mate 90 Pro is currently available on the Vmall platform in China, with prices starting at ¥7,000 for the 12/256 GB configuration. The base Mate 90 model starts at ¥6,000.
