Huawei has opened its first direct-operated comprehensive after-sales service center in Japan. The facility is located in the Kanda Sudacho district of Tokyo, near the Akihabara commercial area.
During the opening period from October 23 to October 31, the first 100 customers are eligible for a labor fee discount of up to ¥5,500 for device repairs.
Starting in November, the company will introduce a monthly Huawei Service Day. This event will take place on the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of each month, offering free product cleaning and laser engraving services.
The new center provides repair requests, product consultations, and general support services for Huawei devices. Huawei entered the Japanese market in 2005 and began selling mobile terminals in 2007.
Market data from the end of March 2026 indicates that Huawei holds a 6.2 percent share of the Japanese smartphone market, ranking fifth in total shipment volume.
