Huawei unveiled the Ruiying Z10 modular camera, internally codenamed King Kong, during the 2026 Kirin Media Communication event held in Shanghai. The device features a proprietary 50Mp 1-inch RYYB sensor developed by HiSilicon, integrated with the new Kirin 9050 series chipset to enable end-to-end processing.
The camera system utilizes the HyperClick mount design, which includes H1 and H2 variants, allowing for screwless quick-release functionality. Huawei plans to expand compatibility with additional mobile devices in the future through independent mount adapter solutions.
The Z10 module incorporates an independent optical image stabilization unit that works in tandem with the Kirin SoC. It also supports AI-driven intelligent fusion focusing to improve speed and accuracy. The product was officially released on October 1.
The standard version of the Huawei Ruiying Z10 is priced at ¥5999. For users seeking a more comprehensive package, the company offers a collector's edition set, which is available for ¥19499.
