Huawei's HIMA alliance reported 37,490 vehicle deliveries in September 2026, marking a 29.15% year-on-year decline and a 10.95% drop compared to August. This represents the fourth consecutive month of annual decline and the third straight month-on-month decrease. Total deliveries for the first nine months of 2026 reached 367,229 units, a 5.27% increase over the previous year, though growth has slowed significantly.

The alliance has surpassed 1.56 million cumulative vehicle deliveries. Despite the sales downturn, HIMA introduced several new models in September, including the Luxeed R7, Stelato V8, Luxeed RX, and the updated Aito M8. Pre-sales for the updated Aito M8 began on September 30 with a starting price of ¥389,800, which is ¥30,000 higher than the previous version.

The updated Aito M8 is available in EREV and BEV variants with five or six seats. The BEV model offers a CLTC range of 830 kilometers, while the EREV version reaches a combined range of 1,435 kilometers. As of August 6, cumulative deliveries of the M8 model had exceeded 180,000 units, though sales have recently weakened.

Huawei and Seres are restructuring their partnership for the Aito brand, with Seres taking the lead in product definition, design, marketing, and service operations. Huawei will continue to provide support while maintaining its lead role in the alliance's other four brands: Luxeed, Stelato, Maextro, and Shangjie. Reports suggest the companies may further deepen their cooperation.
