Huawei has released version 6.0.0.340 of its proprietary music creation application, Harmony Music, via the AppGallery. This update expands device compatibility to include the MatePad 11.5 S 2025 model.
The application, which entered public beta testing on June 1, covers the entire digital music production workflow, including composition, recording, arrangement, and mixing. It features a library of over 200 classical Western and Chinese musical instruments.
According to official specifications, the software requires high hardware performance and is currently limited to devices running HarmonyOS 6.1 or later. Huawei developed the tool internally after identifying a lack of similar professional music software in the domestic market.
Zhu Dongdong, President of Huawei's Tablet and PC Product Line, noted that the project represents a long-term investment. The company aims to digitize classical instruments, including those found in museums, to provide high-precision samples for music producers.
