Huawei has launched the HarmonyOS 7 Beta program for several legacy device series, including the Mate 60, Mate X5, and Pura 70. Users can register for the update directly through the software update section in their device settings to receive the new system version immediately.

Testing reveals that the HarmonyOS 7 Beta introduces eye-tracking page turning for the Mate 60 series. This feature, which debuted on the Pura X series in March last year, utilizes eye-detection technology to monitor eye movement for navigation.

To use the function, users read from the top of the screen downwards. Once the prompt appears at the bottom, shifting focus to the top of the display triggers the page turn. This integration expands the availability of eye-tracking controls to a wider range of Huawei smartphones.
