The Kirin 9050 Pro features a processor architecture consisting of one 3.1GHz ultra-large core, two 2.7GHz performance cores, four 2.2GHz efficiency cores, and two 1.75GHz small cores. It is equipped with a Maleoon 955 GPU with 6CU 1GHz.
The chip uses a layered arrangement of logic units within a single chip, creating vertical interconnect channels to shorten signal transmission paths and reduce latency. This architectural change is compared to upgrading from a single-story layout to a duplex.
The Mate XT 2 tri-fold phone is the first device to feature the Kirin 9050 Pro. Thanks to the synergy between software, hardware, and cloud services, the overall performance of the Mate XT 2 has increased by 42% compared to the Mate XTs.
