Huawei has reportedly begun distributing the Mate 90 series to offline retail channels. Leaks from industry sources confirm the existence of four distinct SKUs for the upcoming smartphone lineup.
The new devices are expected to feature the latest Kirin flagship processor, specifically the Kirin 9050 Pro. This chip is identified as the first logic-folded tau-architecture processor, with peak performance anticipated in the Mate 90 Pro Max model.
Design-wise, the series will retain the signature star-ring aesthetic. Leaked details suggest an octagonal shape for the RS version and a camera configuration consisting of three lenses paired with a single periscope telephoto unit across the series.
While Huawei has scheduled a product launch event for September 28 at 14:30, the company has not officially confirmed whether the Mate 90 series will be unveiled during this presentation.
