The updated Luxeed R7, a coupe SUV developed by Huawei and Chery, has launched in China. The vehicle is available in four variants with prices ranging from ¥239 800 to ¥319 800. The starting price is ¥20 000 lower than the previous model, which was last updated six months ago.
Luxeed invested ¥500 million into the refresh, implementing eight upgrades. The battery-electric version now features a CLTC range of up to 855 km and utilizes the Huawei Giant Whale 800 V high-voltage platform. The rear-mounted motor output has been increased to 227 kW.
The vehicle includes the Huawei ADS 5 system and an 896-channel LiDAR. Interior features include a 17.2-inch 3.4K butterfly-wing display, a 26-inch head-up display, and a standard Huawei Sound audio system. Customers currently receive two-year interest-free financing and benefits worth up to ¥44 500.
The R7 measures 4 982 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2 950 mm. The update introduces two new exterior colors and semi-flush door handles. The launch occurred at a HIMA event alongside the new Luxeed RX electric SUV and the Stelato V8 MPV.
