Huawei executive Yu Chengdong announced that pre-orders for the updated Luxeed R7 coupe SUV will begin this September. The vehicle features a maximum pure electric range of 855 km and includes eight major upgrades aimed at improving the user experience.

The new model incorporates design and configuration elements from the flagship V9 and RX models. Updates include a redesigned steering wheel, head-up display, streaming media systems, and ambient lighting. The vehicle also features a new Titanium Silver color option.

Technical improvements include the integration of an in-cabin common optical path LiDAR system. The interior adopts a wrap-around cockpit design with a new D-shaped steering wheel and a dual-screen layout. The infotainment system now runs on the latest HarmonyOS.

Exterior modifications feature a redesigned tailgate, a new side-mounted high-position camera on the B-pillar, and semi-hidden door handles. The brand logo has been updated to a hollow-out design to enhance the overall aesthetic quality of the vehicle.
