Honor unveiled MagicOS 11 at its Global Developer Conference, built on Android 17. The platform introduces the Luminous Glass architecture, which enables adjustable transparency for interface elements, and the Hummingbird architecture, designed to improve system responsiveness and animation smoothness.
According to Honor, MagicOS 11 delivers a 20 percent increase in animation fluidity compared to the previous version. The system also features the updated Yoyo AI assistant, which supports over 1,000 usage scenarios and integrates with more than 10,000 third-party AI services in China, capable of executing task chains of up to 100 steps.
The update includes Storage Space 2.0 for memory optimization, support for simultaneous connection of two Bluetooth headsets, and the Hongyan AI Cloud Map feature for improved connectivity in poor network conditions. Additionally, the platform supports multi-protocol fast charging and seamless file sharing with devices from Apple, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
MagicOS 11 will debut on the Honor Magic9 smartphone series. Public beta testing is currently available for over 18 devices, including the Magic8 and Magic V6 series, as well as Honor 600 models.
