Honor has officially launched its MagicOS 11 operating system, which introduces a new liquid glass design aesthetic. The system is now available for unlimited public testing across multiple device models.
The OS features the new Liuguang architecture, which reconstructs the Android foundation to enable dynamic liquid glass effects with adjustable transparency. Honor claims this implementation results in almost zero additional power consumption.
The update includes the Hummingbird architecture, which introduces liquid motion effects based on new physical models. This change is designed to improve overall system fluency by more than 20 percent across all supported devices.
MagicOS 11 introduces Storage Space Optimization Technology 2.0, which utilizes lossless data compression and automatic junk file cleanup. This feature can free up to 60GB of storage space on compatible devices.
Additional features include multi-protocol fast wireless charging, the Hongyan AI cloud map for optimized network selection in weak signal areas, and support for dual Bluetooth headphone connections. The camera system now supports 4K Live recording, allowing users to capture live photos while shooting video.
