Honor is preparing to launch a new foldable smartphone featuring a wider form factor. According to industry insider Wisdom Pikachu, the device is scheduled for release in January 2027, shifting from the previously anticipated 2026 timeframe. The company plans to support the model with a comprehensive ecosystem of accessories.
The smartphone will feature a 7.6-inch internal foldable screen and a 5.5-inch external display. Its design aims for wider proportions, comparable to the Huawei Pura X Max, to provide a more standard smartphone experience when folded. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor.
The camera system is expected to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a periscope telephoto lens. A notable feature is the battery capacity, which is reported to exceed 7000 mAh. This release suggests that Honor intends to establish this wider foldable format as a core product line rather than a niche experiment.
