Honor is preparing for the market launch of its new flagship smartphone, the Magic 9 Pro Max, scheduled for September 28. Chief imaging engineer Luo Wei recently showcased the device's capabilities by sharing high-quality photos of the full moon captured using a dedicated teleconverter.

The device will be available in three color options: Moss Green, Silver, and Shadow Black. Consumers can choose from several memory configurations, including 12 GB of RAM paired with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, as well as 16 GB of RAM with either 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage.

A special edition of the smartphone features an extensive photography kit. It includes a protective case, mounting hardware, and two external lenses: the Honor Thumb Teleconverter with a 200 mm focal length and the Honor Mega Teleconverter, which offers an equivalent focal length of 500 mm.
