Honor has introduced two new external teleconverter lenses designed specifically for the Magic 9 and Magic 9 Pro Max smartphones. The G200 model features a 200 mm focal length and is intended for portrait photography and close-up shots. The device is notable for its compact design, measuring 81 mm in length and weighing approximately 88 g, which makes it comparable in size to a lipstick.
The second model, the Honor G500, serves as a long-range solution for capturing distant subjects. It increases the native 85 mm focal length of the Magic 9 Pro Max camera by 5.88 times, resulting in a 500 mm equivalent. The manufacturer states that the lens supports shooting at focal lengths reaching up to 14 000 mm, making it suitable for sports events, wildlife, and concerts.
