Honor has officially confirmed that the Magic9 series will not include an RSR Porsche Design edition. This information was shared by Lin Lin, head of the Smart Life Business Department for Honor China, in a social media comment on October 1.
The Magic9 lineup, which debuted on September 28, consists of the Magic9 Pro Max, the standard Magic9, and the Magic9 Super Power version. The starting price for the series is set at ¥4499.
Previously, Honor had established a tradition of releasing RSR Porsche Design models for its flagship series, including the Magic6, Magic7, and Magic8. The Magic8 RSR, launched in January 2024, featured a ceramic back and started at ¥7999.
According to Wang Ban, President of Sales and Service at Honor, the Magic8 RSR model achieved record-breaking sales figures, surpassing all previous Porsche Design collaborations released by the company.
