At the Honor HGDC 2026 developer conference, MagicOS product director Wang Qian announced a partnership between Honor and Yinwang. The collaboration focuses on integrating smartphone applications into vehicle systems through a touch-based connection feature.
The new functionality will debut in the Qijing GX7 model, with plans to expand support to other vehicles in the future. Yinwang, or Yinwang Intelligent Technology, is a subsidiary of Huawei established on January 16, 2024, specializing in automotive intelligent systems.
Recent demonstrations show that the new dual-framework HarmonyOS vehicle system supports connectivity with Honor devices. The updated Super Desktop feature allows users to stream applications from an Honor Magic8 Pro directly to the car's infotainment display.
