Honor and SmallRig have developed a professional video kit for the Magic9 Pro Max smartphone, scheduled for release on September 28. The accessory set includes a professional grip and two teleconverters, G200 with a 200 mm focal length and G500 with a 500 mm focal length.
The device features ARRI Cinema Mode and the ARRI LogC3 video pipeline. These technologies, integrated through a partnership with ARRI, provide professional color grading and image processing capabilities. The setup also supports external microphone audio recording, focus peaking, and false color monitoring.
The camera system reportedly includes two 200-megapixel sensors: a main sensor measuring 1/1.28 inches and a periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.4-inch sensor. Additionally, the Magic9 series will feature a 55-megapixel front-facing camera called Agile Eye, which utilizes a square matrix sensor.
